day three of hols, more observations bout this lovely ole house, it only has two toilets, one is poked round the back of the kitchen and is more of an afterthought, cold ?? its a rude wake up call of cold porcelain on bare bottom., the surprised look is testament to the shock. Was a quiet nite, given the spooky nature of this house is a surprise, that said it has a lovely feel to it even though the kids wont go up to the second and third floors unaccompanied, the three locked doors to other rooms in amongst the bedrooms play havoc with over imaginative minds. The walk in pantry is as cold as a witches heart, the fridge struggles to keep the chill at chill temp, milk gets a bit frozen, and rattles in the bottle..
Had a really nice day today, went to betws y coed to swallow falls, was a really impressive sight, it was a nice sunny day and the sun glinted through the spray which the falls kick up.. nice.. It was all set to the the golden browns and golds and oranges of the autumn leaves, nature really does orchestrate a perfect scene.
We are sharing the holiday with another family which has been an education and surprisingly it has been very harmonious..(stop laughing dids) even given the "lively" nature of coussie Tara ... shes lovely but like handling a hand grenade with the pin out. teenagers eh ..lol.. you have to work at the relationship with tara,, but its worth it , feel rewarded and satisfied when shes peaceful laying on the sofa with me and the girls.
