Timber!

Storm Hector chose its time to effect maximum damage to the trees sporting their full summer foliage. The ground is covered in leaves torn off branches and the paths and roads are blocked by fallen limbs of trees.
The owners of the cars in my blip will be somewhat dismayed at what they find once they have extracted their vehicles from underneath this fallen tree.

I thought it was windy enough as I went for my prebreakfast recce of the area, but it seemed to get a whole lot worse when His Lordship and I took to the highways and byways later. There were times when HL had to tether me to his greater bulk lest I blow off over the chimney pots.
