Small duck family

This is the best shot I could get of this little duck family. The adult male seems to be some kind of hybrid mallard and the baby looks just like him. The mom looks more like a regular mallard. They were all three sitting on a log, behind the rushes so I had to bend in unnatural ways to catch them.

Weather has been nice and cool but the constant overcast of the last week is wearing thin! Today we walked the park backwards from our usual direction - good for a change...
