Macabre Humour!

Had my bone density scan - seriously worsened osteoporosis over the last two years was the result! Bit of a downer. But then I had stopped the HRT and was not consistent at taking the various natural products I had found when first diagnosed. I've since done more reading about drug treatments but have decided a fracture seems preferable to the side effects - particularly as my likelihood of having one is 1 in 10 falls!
Vegan Jo and I went to Tavistock and the dress shop - she took all but 3 of my dresses! The three she didn't take were ones I didn't think she would so a good result! We then went for lunch - my first lunch out since last August!  We say outside and it was lovely! We then had a wander to help the digestion and found this tattoo shop! After a bit of a shop in a delicatessen - lovely Cornish mint tea bought! We went to an art shop for Jo to buy a card. Much laughter over the cards! I told the owner he should charge for providing the humour - he said it was lovely to hear laughter in the shop!
Back home we had pudding - my orange polenta cake with creme fraiche and blueberries followed by a George Clooney! I'm loving the taste of coffee again - but am still restricting myself to decaf! I'm avoiding stimulants of any kind to maintain a calm frame of mind and mental balance, apart from the natural high of a good gardening session of course!
We looked at Jo's old family album and the photos of the place she used to holiday as a child that we came across on our Open Art Studio jaunt a few weeks back. I have similar looking photos from our family album - so funny to see the fashions back then!
After Jo left I found some yoga exercises to strengthen bones and balance - considering I fell on the allotment the other day I think my balance does need some help! But at least I didn't break any bones!
I also looked up blood types as vegan Jo was saying how a colleague stopped being a vegan as he kept falling ill, and now eats for his blood type!  I realised I don't remember what blood type I am which then prompted me to wonder why we have different blood types - well I googled that too and it seems no one is too sure!! But the eat for your blood type is nonsense it seems!!
A good day all in all - despite the diagnosis!
