Enjoying the sunshine

After a very grey and miserable day yesterday, the sunshine was back today.  Tinkerbell, who is 14 and rather frail, surprised us by going out through an open front room window where she sat relaxing on the windowsill enjoying the rays.  This shot is not so clear because it was taken through the less than  immaculately clean  window.
In other news, Violet has yet another bout of tonsillitis.  She arrived to us early morning and between myself, Mr MC and daughter #1,  we managed to care for her, get her to a Dr's appointment, get her medicine and still do all the main things that we had planned for today.  She was cheerful but still quite poorly when she left with her mummy this evening, so I expect that I'll see her again tomorrow morning.
