How Long... ?

How long have I lived here and never noticed this sign on the wall??

Answer:  Long enough to have opened my eyes!   I don't remember ever seeing this sign.  But I feel sorry for James Peter - his court got turned into Rose Street. 

(A wee bit Internet searching shows that addresses can be "xx, James Peter Court, Shamrock Street" - which is the perpendicular street to Rose Street. )

(We have a Shamrock,  a Rose and a Thistle but no daffodil or leek)
