just goes to show

what's that saying - grow where you're planted - or some such - it's what i thought when i spotted this little guy - coming out of an appointment this morning - there it was - seemingly growing out of rocks - not paying any attention to its surrounding - and what shouldn't be but instead - taking nourishment and nutrition from the soil - and where it happened to land - it gave me pause

how often do we humans - truly take advantage of our own surroundings - the very place on this planet where we've landed - to take from 'the soil' and make something of it - transform it into good - use our talents to help those less fortunate - there are a multitude of ways in which - we could help others - do we really do all we can, done our part - have we bloomed where we've been planted - so all can enjoy...
