A few more Green Shoots

Today was the last day of summer. Rain was forecast for the afternoon so I set off for Green Shoots at Glencruitten to weed the second bed which I now have the use of. I'm now the proud possessor of a number of leeks!

I started the other day, but thought I would finish it off while the soil was still dust dry. It didn't take long and the rain began to fall just as I was finishing. I may grow some veg in it, but it's more likely that I'll use it for growing perennials and ferns to plant out in my own garden in the fullness of time. I have far too many pots at home and I'm afraid that my elderly decking will collapse under the weight of plants!
