Alliums

The alliums are almost over, but there are a few Allium christophii still flowering, including these two which self-seeded two or three years ago. They seem to have reached flowering size very quickly; usually the other alliums seed prolifically, but the resulting grassy new plants never come to anything and get cleared away with the weeds, or smothered by other plants.
