Magnificences
After a day shifting a ton or so of heavy clay from a bed by the railway (not especially photographic) we went into town to join a walk with the leader talking about "Malvern's Magnificent Trees".
Even within the short distance between the station and the sport centre we'd covered quite a few grand specimens of a wide variety of species - mainly due to a policy by Lady Foley of selling off her* land in large plots for individual homes and requiring that trees were planted and allowed to come to maturity.
This is some exotic pine, by the railway station.
*allegedly sold off some land that wasn't hers, too!
