Fashion statement
A Black-headed gull in its autumn/winter wear - just a fetching black spot behind its eye instead of its spring/summer headwear. It's agile enough to catch insects in the air and can also attract worms by paddling the ground with its feet. There are over two million of them in the UK in winter, and this one apparently stays within the British Isles.
I had intended to do a Brent geese blip but none of my shots was very successful. I also wondered about blipping this shot of dib-dabbing turnstones.
