Bjorn (Day 1133)
Back at the bathroom fit this morning it was a day for finishing off the last few bits. As I had suspected, once the shower was fitted and the water switched on, it was totally airlocked. A bit of frustrating fiddling around and I managed to get the shower running properly and moved on to the cosmetic touches with deft application of silicone. The bathroom is finished at last, the customer is delighted.
After collecting stuff in town for jobs tomorrow, I had a stop at home before a trip to Stromness to drop off stuff for Emmy and to visit Bjorn to get a cast iron garden ornament fixed for mum and dad.
The ornament is a horse head and the head had broken off the base. I asked Bjorn if he would be able to repair it and after a quick look he suggested heading to the workshop with it for a bit of welding. It was a good opportunity to take a few snaps and I couldn't really choose between this one and the extra. The head is now firmly attached to the base and just needs a lick of paint. Dad is pleased to have it back, having thought it was likely scrap.
Thanks Bjorn.
