Lac Chalain

We’ve moved onto the Jura and are now at a campsite on the shore of Lac Chalain.

Last night in Troyes we had heavy HEAVY rain, it brought back memories of a camping holiday in the ‘80’s in Brixham Devon when I ended up in Burger King in Exeter drying my underwear under the hand dryers, but thankfully that wasn’t needed and we managed to get away with no problem this morning.

Very beautiful where we are now, an area we haven’t explored in any depth before. Lots of Lime trees (Linden) so the scent is intoxicating.

The eagle eyed amongst you will notice Reggie on the photo trying to reach his stick without swimming. He didn’t manage!
