Selfie at Tropea

After a long drive down coastal roads today we are in Tropea which is a lovely town on the "Bunion" of Italy's foot.  We are only a couple of hours from the crossing to Sicily tomorrow.

Today has been eventful as we had to retrace a considerable amount of our path when we found the road was impassable.  It was beautiful however.  Many bits were very similar to the much busier Amalfi Coast drive.

We went for a lovely meal in the town where this couple were enjoying the sunset overlooking the monastery.
