So the wait continues.....

We heard some most excellent news yesterday.... after auditioning in May, Katie has made it to the Short Wait list for the Royal Ballet School junior associates. To make the list is really exciting of itself, though it’s a bit of a frustrating/unknown situation. Some friends have been on it and had places offered two weeks later. Others we know have been on it and had no place come up. Her teacher has spoken to the RBS and told me she’s confident a place will be offered to Katie soon. It’s very exciting but does leave me on continued edge waiting to hear. Another girl, a slightly older friend of hers, is also on the wait list and one little one got a place!

Today was the first Saturday show rehearsal so Katie was excited to see her teacher & they had their photos taken to share the news with the rest of the school. Now we wait. Some more.
