Last Friday a simple Microsoft Windows update ate my laptop. I had to take it to the repair shop. Finally got it back today. Grrrr!

The sweet peas have been out for a couple of weeks now. This year I'm growing quite a few of the highly scented "old fashioned" (ie pre-Spencer) types. This one is called "America" and was introduced in 1896 by Morse-Vaughan. It has a distinctive cherry red flake on a white ground.
