Uther Check-in

Uther is looking so grown-up already. I am figuring he is somewhere close to 4 weeks old at this point and hopefully out of danger of not making it. We are thinking at this point he is going to stay with us. I bought some things to make his enclosure more exciting and safe (a top ... because I bet he'll be able to jump out soon even though it is more than 2 ft tall ...). We are also going to get him 2 lady friends :3 Deer mice cannot breed with domestic mice, so there won't be piles of babies or anything like that. Just need to do it soon so they can all bond.

He is not fond of me picking him up (for the most part), but once in my hand, he remembers this is where the good stuff happens. He still loves getting chin scritches and pets too. He's a good mouse.
