Hound Point
At 0630 feeling more than a little tired, I was arriving as a volunteer for at a charity abseil off the Forth Rail Bridge.
The view at that time of day across the bridges north of Edinburgh was magic, almost worth getting up that early, and I was able to take this shot of the lights from the oil terminals in the Firth of Forth reflecting off the water, from South Queensferry underneath the bridge.
As it happens, it was the most successful abseil I've helped on, raising over £170,000 for charity that day... and those clouds didn't turn into rain. Must have been a good omen!
