B&W Filters
The Blackheath Photo Group is challenged to shoot some blue sky landscapes and to turn them into monos using some form of digital colour filtration. There are lots of options. Photoshop, Lightroom, Topaz Studio, Silver Efex, Camera Raw and even humble Photoshop Elements all have some form of greyscale channel mixing or simulated traditional tinted lens filter effects. I am always surprised to hear how seldom people use them.
Anyway, the challenge was set last Monday and this is the first sunny spell we have had since. Thinking that I may not get another chance, I darted down to Evans Lookout to shoot something of the Grose Valley. The original colour pic is the extra and the blip pictures show two simple presets from PS Elements.
