The Big Clean-Up!

Over this weekend, we had some rainfall......not much!...
BUT, it brought with it, tons of red dust from the Sahara!!
We woke to find a covering of dust on everything.....the roads, paths, cars, terraces....and on our clean white terrrace furniture!......on the washing lines, on the pegs, on the BBQ....
in fact everywhere!
A domestic hosepipe is ineffective in washing away this pesky red dust ....it is sticky......rather as I imagine, volcanic dust to be!!
And so, on Monday morning, the big cleanup began!
Here is the cleaning team....with its high pressure hoses, washing down the the Promenade and the paths.....
This picture is being repeated all over the Costa!
