Learning a New Sport...

...from an expert. A beginners session on the Beach Volleyball courts on Portobello Beach was just coming to a close as I walked by this evening. Pretty awesome to be able to learn the basics from an international athlete - Mel here was running the session with her Commonwealth Games partner Lynne. The new class is part of the new programme of activities being run by the Edinburgh Beach Volleyball club, making the sport accessible to anyone who wants to give it a go. Still don't think my recovering frozen shoulder is quiet ready for volleyball unfortunately!
