Degrees of scattering

A lawn full of daisies; my entry for this week's Mono Monday challenge on the theme "scattered". 
They are certainly scattered, but exactly how? Are they randomly scattered, relatively uniformly scattered, or are they tending towards being clumped? Just the sort of question that ecologists like to ask.

"Extra". During my afternoon walk along the local lanes I started to play about with some of the many ways in which my camera can distort reality, which I rarely, if ever use. I was quite taken with this different look at the hawthorn trees which are currently heavily covered in blossom.
