Coffee tasting

Another warm and sunny day - I took Adam and Jenni to Kingston this afternoon and we walked a short way along the river enjoying the sunshine. (Lawrence had already left this morning to go back to university). Adam enjoys a good coffee made by the drip method and I knew a cafe in Kingston that uses that method to make their coffee, so we had coffees there. Here are Adam and Jenni tasting their coffees - each made from different beans and different roastings.

In other news, some boys from Thomas' Physics set at school entered a national engineering design competition - the British Aerospace Challenge. They found out today that two of their teams have been selected for the shortlist, which is a very good outcome. Thomas and the other boys will attend the Aerospace Experience Week which is a residential workshop held for a week in the summer holidays. Their teacher is very proud of them!
