Allium and bee

Allium siculum in the garden. I've got a few of these hardy alliums and they're good because they flower a bit later than the drumstick ones. This one was attracting the bees this afternoon. We had that warm, damp weather which the slugs and weeds just love but I didn't have much garden time today.

The three year old is three today and there was a quick visit so that we could see her on her birthday. Interestingly she went straight for the old familiar toys. It's a bit overwhelming having a birthday when you're old enough to understand the excitement but too young to really process it.

Quick catch up with my friend J and suddenly it's the end of the day. They do just go by don't they.
