Riparian Reflections

Very warm day...

Met with friends at Cafe Vega in Green Island (a satellite suburb of Dunedin). Unassuming small cafe with a lovely wee backyard overlooking a stream that is home to several ducks of various colours.

Spent a lovely hour catching up and feeding the ducks and enjoying the relative peace and quiet that comes with riparian scenes. Somewhere there was a rooster crowing for attention but otherwise it was just the gentle running of the stream, bird song from tree and water and us chattering quietly. Very relaxing.
