Toronto in the mist

Lovely Saturday, a bit of rest & recovery after my crazy busy and unusual week. I hit the pool for my weekly swim (having missed last week which was extremely unusual for me) then on to a pedi. We had a bit of a date night but i had to agree to attend the rowing club's neighbours 60th birthday celebrations. It was held at their newly spruced up canoe/kayak club house and it was beautiful. Weather was perfect overlooking the river from their patio/deck. Once we had fufilled our duties we headed to our shoreline and took a nostalgic walk along the waterfront where we first visited 11 years ago when we flew in to town and bought our home. This photo is from our walk and shows the Toronto skyline in the distance. We then popped over to the big box store (open until 10:00 on a Saturdat night!) and found patio chairs and walkway solar lighting getting ready for our company for the 60th biryhday/retirement party i am hosting foe my sweetie in July...it is looking great with the deck and cobblestones completely being redone.
