Shropshire Union Canal, Chester.

It was a very warm morning when we checked out of the hotel.

RF had another walk ready which was going to include party of the canal but en route to the start we had to detour into the shopping centre for an emergency hat purchase, I didn't think sun cream alone would protect my hairless head.

The walk took us along part of the city walls to a point where we stopped for tea but stayed for lunch which was delightful.

Due to her research into interesting walks we have seen parts of the city we would not have otherwise seen which has been a big part of this weekend so thank you very much RF.

Chester is definitely somewhere we will visit again.
