Damsel fly

The concert last night was good. It was in aid of Tearfund (a Christian relief and development agency) who are celebrating their 50th year. Also a chance to catch up with several people we haven't seen for ages.
Had a good service at church with a visiting preacher and afetr lunch went for a walk round the ponds. I was about to take a photo when I discovered the memory card was still in the house so rushed back to get it and was rewarded with this damsel fly landing just in front of me. I hadn't picked up the long lens (and might have missed the damsel if I had) but this pic cropped in pretty well.
A big event today - it rained, 4 weeks to the day since the last time!
