Getting the hang of it

I had a very pleasant walk over the ridge this morning and managed to get a long-distance view of a skylark.  I did try creeping nearer but there was only so far I was allowed to go before it took off into the sky.  (see extra)

The baby woodpecker arrived at the feeder yesterday evening and has been back today, with and without mum.  It's quite comical to watch.
