Shebeen

We packed loads into today and what a good one it was!
Spinning with Ona this morning before doing a couple of hours on uni work. Then off to check out kitchens as part of the great home make-over. We bumped into my sister and partner and he has connections in the joinery world so we may get a bit of professional insight.
Off to Nottingham then, and we pottered in town before having a sunny supper outside the restaurant that we had our wedding lunch in. Twenty two years, two months and two weeks later!
This evening, we went to the Playhouse. We used to go so often and after a recommendation this week, we booked. The venue remains so welcoming - we even played ping pong on the terrace outside. The bar was all decked out with Commonwealth flags in keeping with the show as well.
It was excellent! Particularly impressive performance by Martina Laird and its local setting and connection to truths, as well as the current resonance, just added to the electricity.
