The faerie Circle

Fiona usually puts the faeries that have wintered in the studio out with their friends in the faerie circle but she couldn’t be here on the traditional Memorial Day weekend.. so she let the book club bring them and she will probably rearrange them when she gets here later, but we know we have Queen Zelda in the right spot overlooking them all with her new dress. We had a very fun day.. sun, rain and cloud and more showers and sun all day...lots of talk, some yoga, yummy brunch ..croissants, eggs burritos and fruit...lots of coffee, some clean out of my kitchen drawers ( I love it when they do this, usually it’s the frig,,) a walk ( including The faerie circle) more talk, wee “nap”, more talk, puzzle, cards, dinner outside ..yummy salmon caught by D, kale/onion/mushroom thing... and homemade cookies,
Last year we didn’t have a book club camp here...the year before was R and me, likewise the year before that. 2014 there were 4 of us..... but now some have moved to retirement homes, one husband died, one husband is now living in an Alzheimer’s place, so the ladies are freer to come. 3 are 80, and the rest of us not far behind. We started coming here for camp in 1993...we used to get out early to row and kayak.. ( maybe tomorrow?...but not so early..) .so have been laughing for years about being all together in our 80s maybe with walkers or canes to climb the hills...ha. Might just happen. .... later....
Full day planned for tomorrow too ( the book will get discussed) but it’s still leisurely and relaxing.... island time..... .
