The Badlands Trail

We had a stunning walk through the Natural Reserve, an area closed to the public to preserve the fossil wealth apart from this one walk.
Completely natural, no man made sounds and just the occasional birdsong. We walked past some amazing Hoodoos, sandstone pillars capped with rocks.
Lit our fire pit and sat watching the deer.
