Fun and games
This afternoon, a very good game of Junior Scrabble with the grandchildren.
Freya and I, playing as a team, were the first to run out of money. Big hearted Rio immediately offered to share his money with us to keep us in the game. We thanked him but decided that wasn't allowed. Freya (3) was ready to wander off, anyway, having concentrated for a good while.
Rio (5) was the final winner, with £39. He was quietly pleased with his pile of money, which he felt was probably MORE than was in the bank! At his request we checked and the bank had £42.
Mason (8) was quick with the calculation for the total number of notes and we wondered had they started with 100, and if so, how had they lost £19!?...
Perhaps they were in the till, used for a shop game? No one was quite interested enough to investigate further. We had a duplo garage to build!
