The Old Forge (Saturday 9th June 2018)

The goldfinches have been absent from my feeders for several weeks now, but today I was delighted to see a group of goldfinch chicks feeding on their own. There were also coal tits, a greenfinch and a baby blue tit. This and the Extra were taken from the porch through a glass window that was a few feet away so image quality is not the greatest.

The first single to use phasing throughout, this comes from their album The Existence Of Chance Is Everything and Nothing While the Greatest Achievement Is the Living of Life and So Say All Of Us (well, it was the sixties). An American band later paid this duo a lot of money to appropriate their name.
