Exhibit A

Spot the child with a somewhat slack mother: bless him, surrounded by friends in nice non school wear, carefully ironed. He seems to be surviving my benign neglect though. This is him and his best friend from primary school, they don't see each other as much but were happy to hang out this evening at the sports presentation evening. I, on the other hand, dumped him there and came home to drink gin. See: benign neglect.
