Stormy

Headed south today and for a while at least left the good weather behind.
The trip south is over 400 miles and it was a LONG way today! I hit a road works traffic jam near Perth which delayed me by half an hour and then as I hit the Borders I had thunder, lightning and torrential rain. Nearly aquaplaned across the motorway and then had to reduce speed to 30mph! Scary stuff!
Thankfully the ‘Appleby horse fair’ traffic didn’t materialise. There were hundreds and I mean hundreds! Of horses, cars and vans but all thankfully in the fields.
