Not the Eiffel Tower
This morning we had a substantial shower of rain, much appreciated after such a long time without it! Mrs M and I, Daughter No 1 and friend walked up to the radio mast on the hill on the other side of the Oban Bay. Daughter and friend are here to attend Oban Live and we walked upwards to the strains of reheasing bands down at Mossfield - we could see the stage from our vantage point.
There's a wonderful view down onto the town and in the bottom right of the picture can be seen the remains of a reservoir, latterly used as a curling pond but now becoming overgrown.
An easy walk and well-worth the effort. We left a town hoaching with folk and were pleased to be the only people up on the hill in the sunshine.
