Birthday Cake

My parents had Daniel for the day so I got to spend time with him which was nice. He's got a lot better at speaking over the last month. He was pretty good already but now he forms sentences much more. He showed me 'me' in a book he borrowed from the library and we made a very chocolatey cake for my Mum's birthday which was last Monday. It also became my birthday cake too as it'll be my birthday on Wednesday.

Met Holly for a cup of tea and a catch-up as it was half term. I was really glad I got a chance to see her even if it was a bit brief. In the evening we had a roast dinner with Matt and Sarah. As I only have a microwave and a hob in France, that's definitely not something I'd be able to make.
