Curly Path

The back garden at Liss.  When I first moved to the house in 2010 it was just grass with a horrible concrete patio and two conifer trees which had been cut to look like giant lollipops!  In the spring of 2011 I started work designing the garden and building the path.  Andy explained to me how to make the path and with string, a tape measure, lots of digging, sand, bricks and concrete I made it over about six weeks.  Since then I have added all the plants to the garden and have had the patio replaced.  I think the path is one of the things I am really proud of having made in my life.  I'd not done anything like it before and really enjoyed creating it.  I think I was actually rather surprised I could make it.   It is in need of a proper clean and re-pointing so I am hoping to do that over the summer.
