Sunrise

An intense sunrise greeted me as I pulled the curtains. I stepped outside and watched it change from vibrant oranges and reds to soft and faded pinks. It heralds the kind of weather that will put the kibosh on my mountain plans tomorrow but that's the way it goes.

The usual Saturday for hpx, enough exercise to exhaust me and enough domestics to make me feel virtuous.

Today's gratitude: For the silence and joy I felt as I watched today's sunrise.
