Mantis

I sent Mr B to check the dog run for spiders and other creepy crawlies. This was all he found. We popped her safely on a plant which is renowned for housing lots of little spiders.

It's been a flurry of activity. We pick up our puppy tomorrow morning, and we've been securing cables and other things that might be attractive to little sharp teeth.

We're off to Mass in a moment, and then out for dinner tonight. We're all pretty tired for some reason. I hope we sleep well tonight.

In other news, completely coincidentally, JL is picking up her new Vizsla puppy (9 months old) today. It's so great that we're getting our new babies around the same time, since Cousteau and his sister, Lenci grew up together. We're in different countries, but the connection is still there.
