I love how it's impossible to watch fireworks without a smile on your face!


Thank you for your well wishes for Kai. He is still very poorly. He has stayed sleeping on and off on the sofa all day and the house had felt so quiet without its usual resident Tigger!

The frosty sunshine beckoned enticingly to me and my camera this morning but the photos I imagined will have to wait until Kai is better. So all I have today is a not very good, tripod-less firework photo taken from the garden.

We are snuggled up in the warm listening to the fireworks whistle and bang, a friend making me a tankard of his 'secret recipe' mulled wine. First of the season. Mmmm!
