Each peach pear plum

With the youngest coming home for an early Father's Day weekend, a fruit pie is alway a popular offering. I made raspberry pie and this a plum pie. It was a slight crisis because I imagined that there were more raspberries than in fact there transpired to be. Hence to much pastry, no small plate and an experiment with a tea plate as my grandma used to do. I just wasn't sure that a modern day plate would cope with oven cooking but it did.
I'm off to buy a smaller enamel plate tomorrow then the pies are never too big.
That aside I went to a constituency Labour Party meeting tonight which proved interesting.
