End of an Era

Tonight marks the official end of our eldest's school years.
Very emotional seeing him in his kilt ready for the Leavers' Ceilidh. Seems a bit of a shame they are not allowed a wee dram as the "do" is being held in a distillery and most of them are 18. But, them's the rules!
The after-party will undoubtedly take care of that anyway!
13 years of full-time education; friendships, successes, occasional disappointment, amazing experiences...so very proud.
Nothing prepares us for these moments of parental awe.
