Meet and greet

We went to a geocaching meet and greet at the three borders points Vaalserberg. It was something very unknown to us and we did not know what to expect. The weather was too unpredictable to go by bike, so we went by bus to Vaals and walked up the hill. The path we took led along the German-Dutch border to the point where Germany and the Netherlands meet Belgium. Where we met a couple of Czechian geocachers with a box full of collectives and coins. Not sure what they all were. Then a few Belgians, Germans and Dutch joined us. We received a list with numbers, a group photo was taken and the group dissolved as quickly as it started.

I still do not quite understand what the purpose of this meeting was. Next meeting on our agenda will be on the top of the hill next to the village with the lunar eclipse at the end of July. I have to read all about geocaching events beforehand.
