Olive groves

There's a sad story behind this picture.  In 1953, there was a big earthquake  in Kefalonia and many building were destroyed, whole communities disappeared.  Obviously, they were rebuilt, the some of the remnants were still visible.  This is part of the derelict and mostly fallen down old village of Poulata where we stayed for the first week.
