Apples and Oranges

By Anitsirk

Today didn't go as planned, but that sometimes happens. I think I've been doing to much this passed week and my body just needed a rest. It feels strange when this happens, but there's only one thing to do... accept the situation and listen to the body.
I did get some small things done... replanted the last plants, wild strawberries, enjoyed all the plants and the part of the patio that looks good. Watered my plants.
I also collected a book from the library. I reserved it some weeks ago and it's been sitting at my library for a week. I managed to remember it and forget it several times. Thankfully I remembered today, because it would'v been sent back today. It's a book I read about in a blip called "The taming of the Queen" by Phillipa Gregory and it's about Henry VIII's last wife, Kathryn Parr. It'll be an interesting read, I think. :)
A couple of weeks ago I rather brutally cut down these three geraniums because they had a pest problem. The ones with smaller leves stays without leaves for many days and I almost thought they didn't make it... but, they did. The one with larger leaves I cut right above leaves, so that one started to grow much faster. I'm happy they lived! I've had them for many years now.
