Present the Colours!

Went out lunchtime to look for CD's & was met by soldiers with fixed bayonets. It was 1st Battalian the Royal Anglians (The Vikings) home coming parade after a tour to Afghanistan. The blip is of them presenting the colours. After the photo was taken the side door of the white van in the background was opened & bottles of bubbly stuff was produced & enjoyed. The rest of the soldiers just turned into the Swan after they were dismissed. There was a little boy of about 2/3 with the group in the background. All the uniforms & shouting scared him into another blood group. His mother had no sympathy.

C went home early today, because his ears were sore & talking on the phone was uncomfortable. That meant that I came home to the smell of a pizza baking in the oven. He selftreated his ears with warm olive oil & they are feeling much better.
