Running away from Pt Wakefield

It is late on Friday night and I am getting my camera gear ready for the week end. Taking two film cameras (Olympus OM1 and Minolta X700) both loaded with Across100. Normally I would have one loaded with a colour film, but I have run out of colour film. Also taking my Nikon digital and the iPhone of course, so I am covered. I have 12 rolls of film in the fridge already waiting for developing and another two will join them by the end of Sunday.

I will be one of the Commissaires for the State Road Championships Over Saturday & Sunday. Don't know what role I will be doing so I don't know how much time I will have for photography. Early morning before 8am (sunrise is at 7:15am here now that we are into winter) and late evening after 5pm is certain (sunset is around 5:15pm). I dislike sun sets, so I am hoping for some early morning dark and moody B&W. Sunday will be better day for photography as it is a late start. I love the bikes, but they do get in the way of the camera. If all else fails I will try and get some race shoots if my official role is one that will give me a chance... it is against the rules for commissaires to take photos while on duty, so I have to be sneaky and not get caught. Of coarse I will post my best shot of the day on blip and any other images on my flickr.
