Four Sheep...

So, what DO sheep do when the sun has set and it's almost beyond dusk?

They just stand around, that's what. I did a number of studies of this group, with a tripod and for this shot, I even moved around them to get them best positioned!

More surprisingly, I was on the outer earth 'ring' of the ancient monument, Old Sarum, nearby - and they were on the inner. My previous shots of time exposures of traffic and 'stuff' soon went by the wayside as this just seemed to be a composition that could only ever come about by chance. Its simplicity and peaceful message, what with the stars just showing and those lovely blues....
